Mazda CX5 lease help

Hello,

I am new to the forum.
I negotiated the following deal on a 2018 Mazda CX5 Touring with prefered package.
I am confused on how to calculate the monthly payments based on the quote that I got.
I would really appreciate If someone could figure out what my monthly payments should be.
I plan do do a 36 months 10k miles lease in Florida.
On Edmunds the money factor is .00062 and residual is 62%.
Sales tax are 6% where I live.
I plan to pay upfront only the tag fees.

Thank you in advance.

Plug it into the Leasehackr calculator and ask the dealer for the payment to make sure they match up. Remember that some incentives are only valid on purchases

Thanks for the reply.

From what I understood the incentives for Mazda right now are pretty much the same for buying or leasing.

I used the calculator and the payments are $249 per months tax included. Is this price possible?

Get a quote from the dealer and compare. They are the only ones that can give you the actual price

Check to see if 33 months is a better deal. For the last 6 months or so 33 months has been much better that 36 with Mazda.

I get 249 as well with 6% tax and doc fee rolled in. Drive off would probably be first payment + tags.

I saw your post on Edmunds, they are right, make sure this isn’t a finance quote.

Thanks for the reply,

I followed the advice on this forum.
I negotiated the price of the car as if i was purchasing it.
I thought that the final negotiated price would be used to calculate the lease payments.
Am I wrong in my approach and thinking?

Thanks.

It’s fine to negotiate the price, but if you’re getting incentives that only apply to financing, then the lease numbers won’t apply. Just make sure the dealer knows this when giving you the quote.

I’d say 250 isn’t bad at all, meets the 1% rule - no cap cost reduction. It’s a nice car.

600 doc fee is crap. I would at least try to knock it down to 300.

Thanks, I will try to bring it down. these car dealers are hard to bargain with.

36 is better this month.

The best quote I got so far is $300 before tax and $500 due at signing which includes the first payment.

Hi. I got a quote on a 2018 cx5 gt. I am curious how much below the msrp o should shoot for percentage wise. The detail are

Msrp 32120
Sale price 30285 6% off msrp
Aqu fee 595 capped
Taxes capped. 1210.18 (nys 8.625)
Capped cost 32090.18

10k miles per year. 62% rv. 00062 mf

DMV and 1st month out of pocket

370.46 a month.

I was calculating If i could get this car for 10% off msrp which should bring me down to around 350 a month. Is this possible? How much in general can I get off the msrp. From what I can tell not much in the way of incentives.

Thanks for any insite.

Michael.
