I’m pretty new with the lease-end process because when I’ve leased in the past, I was able to get into a new lease prior to my old one ending. I currently have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 that will be ending next June and I believe my residual is about 21k and I have about 19k miles currently, so as much as I would want to get into a new lease I don’t think my payments would be similar to what I’m paying now. My question is would it be a good idea to extend my lease to see what the market looks like towards the end of next year or just buy it out? If I buy it, when do I start looking for a loan?
