Has anyone ever leases one of these for under $1000 with nothing down? This advertised deal does not look bad.
If that’s in one of the states where you pay sales tax up front it’s basically 0 down? Also, I couldn’t figure out how you thought it looked, then I realized the last word got stuck to the picture.
If you roll the $8888 due at signing in… comes to $1014 (sign and drive), if that is the case, that is a good deal. MSRP is $141K - however this is an OLD, VERY OLD design… so even though the MSRP is like this, I wouldn’t consider a 1% deal even close to good. You can buy these cars new for 25-30% off easily… But $1000 a month is 1% rule of 100K… I’d say its a good deal.
You are buying the name though and I guess if you like the looks… the tech, ride, speed/power, is all below average in the segment and you can get more of everything I said above for cars 1/2 the price.
Well, that deal is considerably under the 1% rule, more like .77%. I’d say it is a good deal for a classy car. Still, I’m sure you can do better. Ask them to pay off your current lease or have them throw in free maintenance (which on Maseratis is very expensive). As for it being an old design, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Remember, it’s not a 911. It’s not called a Granturismo by accident. Its designed to be a cool cruiser, not a high performance sports car. As a cool cruiser, it is pretty darn cool.
People got 72k MSRP Maserati for 488, so for aging Maseratis, the benchmark is .67%. So .77% is still too high
Not to get technical but… that was on a base Ghibli, not a Granturismo, and Phantomcypher actually paid $542 on $72,850 MSRP, which comes to about .74% – and he did the best on that thread (others paid $556/.76% and $572+tax/.82%). So, .77% is in the ballpark. Not to mention that I paid .77% on my SQ4.
I found it impossible for any of those deals to be replicated this year working with a broker and myself contacting several dealerships all over. Best theyve offered now is 715 on a 74k msrp, 0 down. I believe this is a good deal but no ~$500 payment.Car is in california and would have to be shipped to FL, But i think i may have to pay shipping. This should be with current lease 2088 (3 mo) + disposition fee (300) feom bmw conquest cash takeover. I’m wondering if I can get maintenance thrown in for free as well, because I do plan on getting it. I’m calculating shipping in the realm of $1500 or so. Wondering if any new incentives this month allow them to discount the price further to xover the shipping fee. If not, deal may not be as attractive just on shipping charges. This is on 15k/36
When I shopped for the Quattroporte two Christmases ago, Earnhardt Maserati in AZ beat all the CA dealers. They also shipped free to CA and Las Vegas, otherwise about $800 elsewhere. Have you tried them?
Thanks for the tip. Will try them!!
Edit: called them said they cant march current deals because heir incentives are not comparable to cali or something. Meh
Earnhardt Maserati in AZ has been closed for a long time.
Who did @entity call then? Haha.
They moved to another location, says on their website. I called that new location
Are you referring to Scottsdale Maserati? Earnheart’s website didn’t say they moved there, it just says that’s where current Maserati owners should go for service now.
Ahh I must have misunderstood when I read the website. I only saw it for a sec before I called. Thanks for the correction
I remember talking to Scottsdale as well but they couldn’t do the same pricing. Too bad about Earnhardt. The GM basically asked me to give him the number I needed and also threw in prepaid maintenance to win the deal.
Wow!! Try to find out where this guy works now please!! What was his name
