Maryland: 2019 Volvo XC60 Lease

I’m in maryland. Went to a dealer yesterday (koons). Was hoping to get a decent deal on an xc60. They told me that any allowance from volvo had to be treated as a rebate in maryland and not a reduction in the sale price, which sucks because it means higher depreciation amount to pay off.

Does anybody know if this is true?

There are better dealers than Koons in DMV. You can use Volvo allowances for cap reduction or for covering upfront payments, if you want to. @okboye is in Annapolis and can clarify how allowances are treated in MD
