What are people seeing for markups on new Mercedes G550 in LA or Seattle? I’ve got one dealer in LA that is willing to do $35k over. Started at $50k over.
Should I hold out a little longer or is this the best I can get for the next year or so?
You can probably do better. I highly recommend reaching out to dealers and having the car shipped or driving it back. I’ve seen one as low as 15k over MSRP just a few weeks ago. That was in the SE so YMMV.
Wholesale on 2021 G550’s has been hovering around $200k for a few weeks now. $35k over on build that you like isn’t a terrible deal right this moment especially in a large market like LA.
You can hold out longer but most G’s are Section 179 / Bonus Depreciation so all the good builds that have reasonable addendums will be gone by 12/31.
Yes I sold my 2021 around that.
