Lyriq lux 2. Is this a smart deal?

Hi I’m trying to be smart about this lease (unlike all my others.) Does this seem like a good deal? It’s a courtesy car with around 400 miles. Residual is 73% money factor is .0021 my first choice is a sport 2, but can’t find one that seems worth it. So this is the luxury 2. Any feedback is welcome. Thank you.

Edited to add I’m in Las Vegas NV. I have looked in SoCal and Utah also

Specify your location when asking for input on a deal! Tagging by state (e.g. CA, NJ, NY, usa-nationwide) is mandatory.

Please tag if your question involves a specialized topic (e.g. tax, insurance, legal, shipping, 3rd-party-buyout, lease-end-purchase, lease-transfer, etc.). You will reach experts faster that way. View all tags at Leasehackr Forum .

I’d expect slightly higher discount for a loaner, though it doesn’t have many miles. What rebates are included in $3250, and which others do you qualify for? (Costco? EV Supplier? Conquest?). Note there is also a loaner (unsure if they’re applying that given the mileage on the loaner – my dealer required 1200 miles before they were “allowed” to retire it and thus apply the CTA rebate.

Those add ons don’t help… Taking a step back, the most successful process is going in knowing your target (based on researched pre-incentive discount, and using that in conjunction with known MF/RV and all rebates to calculate a target), and making offers to dealers with your target. How has research informed you in terms of what your target should be?

I think the rebates are 2000 conquest and 1250 Costco. I can’t seem to get anything without all the add ons. I don’t know if it’s a Vegas thing, but all of my leases have had them, and they weren’t negotiable.

Can you attempt to replicate in the LH calculator? Start there, and for the heck of it, can see where current discount + adding $2000 loaner rebate plus removing the add ons would do. Of course, they’d have to be willing to remove the add ons, and you have to confirm they are able to apply the loaner rebate. IMO, no use targeting a loaner without finding one that can have the additional 2k rebate.

Why not look out of state / further out?

I will ask about the loaner rebate. Won’t remove the add ons. I’ve also looked Idaho and Arizona, and have contacted multiple brokers. If I have gotten a response from a broker it’s either about a lux or sport 1, or that they can’t do out of state. A lot of non responses though.

I haven’t figured out how to use the calculator.

That would be a good first step. There are plenty of of posts on here as well as article in 101 section
