What do you mean? Tesla have service centers for customer to bring the car. Or for minor repair, they come to you. That doesn’t sound like they haven’t “figure out how to service their direct to consumer products”.
Rivian and Lucid don’t have their cars out to the public, so there’s no service center yet.
I don’t think he’s talking about servicing the car…but more like B2C or direct to consumer model…

Is it possible that your wiring harness was also recalled? I know mine certainly was but I’ve never had it replaced.

For $250K I’m putting a down payment on another overpriced house I don’t need.
I would still get a Lucid; maybe not for that much. Cheapest is about $90k.
