It depends on the state. For example, I am based out of Texas and they charge me upfront for tax for the whole vehicle for even leasing. The best way to figure this out is to reach out to a Lucid sales associate, assuming the online calculator is not able to show you this info. Happy to DM my SA details if you need it.
I hear you. I have been doing this since last two years and was hit with the tax bill. But doing it for my love of Lucid and help others to get a discount. May not be the most prudent thing from my end but it is ok.

I did a demo drive today but not able to replicate this deal because they don’t have the lowest priced option in the inventory. I am in California. It’s coming out to around $700 / month after taxes but doesn’t include $2000 year end bonus mentioned on leasehackr. The sales person said it’s limited to only certain vehicles. Seems like misleading advertising via leasehackr.
You have to put in some effort to stack all the incentives and actually hack a car.

Fair. But the information is not available readily on the website. You have to work with a salesperson who is willing to explore all available ones where year end bonus is applicable. And the one I was working with didn’t know about the bonus. They did use an alternative term called studio select discount but even that requires going through the backend. I’d still say it is misleading.

I emailed the sales rep in sacramento, he didnt even reply back. I am hoping someone was able to replicate this deal and we can try there.
I was speaking to my SA today. There seem to be great deals on any in-stock vehicle they can close before the EOY. These are not advertised online or reflected in the calculator, it seems. Reach out to a studio or SA contacts you may have. DM me if you need my SA info. Lucid looks pretty motivated to sell as much as possible this year.
