I wonder how many people are actually leasing a Lucid in TX where you have to pay sales tax on the full price of the vehicle? Why isn’t Lucid able to provide sales tax credits like BMW/Audi? Right now you can lease just about any BMW and get a sales tax credit down from 6.25% to 1.25%. If TX gives BMW/Audi (I’m sure other manufacturers as well) refunds on the tax paid, I’m not sure why Lucid wouldn’t be able to do the same thing.
There is a Preowned Air pure unit for $44k, at 0.99% doesn’t seem too bad of a deal. The issue is that it has 41k miles which is close to the 50k mile standard warranty.

Just an FYI about giving referrals is that Lucid will hit you with a tax bill. Its not worth handing them out imo.

If you order a Lucid (i.e. custom build, not an in-stock vehicle), does Lucid allow you to lock the lease programs/incentives at the time of order (a la BMW)? Or are you stuck with whatever programs exist when you take delivery? It seems like there can be a lot of variability in incentives and rates on these.

My understanding is it is whatever program available when you take the delivery. Will provide the contact of a Lucid SA over DM and they are super responsive if you text them, including Sunday.
BTW, keep a look on the inventory. All kind of configurations were showing up online and you may get a good match you can get shipped or delivered.
