Looking to leverage June 2025 deals on Hyundai IONIQ 5 lease in KY

I’ve been drawn in by Hyundai’s lease deals for June 2025 that expire on July 7, 2025. I saw them advertised for $199 a month and $3,999 up front. That might be just what the doctor ordered for us for the next two years.

I’m having trouble getting their promos to line up with the real world. I’ve used the calculator on this site and I even contributed to the site so I could get RateFindr. I also got info from the moderator on Edmunds who gave me the terms:

Q: Can you please share the MF, RV, and incentives for 10k and 12k miles 24/36 month lease for Ioniq 5 2025 SE (318 mile range) for zip code 40222?

A:
24/12: .00224 MF and 62% residual. $13,250 lease cash
36/12: .00253 MF and 54% residual. $13,250 lease cash

After driving another one today I may want to look at an SEL AWD instead.

Between what Hyundai advertises, what I see on Edmunds, and plugging that in with RateFindr (which is confusing because of where I can put in manual numbers), I really can’t nail down what the costs of leasing this thing should truly be.

Also, I reserved a pre configured deal on the car here 24 hours ago but haven’t heard anything yet. They’re in Florida and it says they ship to neighboring states. I’m in Kentucky, not necessarily a direct neighbor but fairly close.

Oh, and a local dealer gave me some numbers that were close to the Hyundai deal on that model but they were all hand written and they had the monthly payment at $261 with the screenshot of the Hyundai page showing $259 a month, along with $3,999 down plus $3,000 in other fees. I know there’s some BS to probably cut through, but that’s pretty deep.

Can someone help me gain some clarity on what I can do here?

step 1: completely disregard whatever lease deal hyundai is advertising. they never factor in taxes, fees, etc so it’s worthless.

step 2: read leasing 101 (there’s a link to it in the upper right menu on every leasehackr page)

step 3: if you did a leasehackr pre-negotiated deal, give the broker some time to respond. you may find out that kentucky is too far away so find a broker in marketplace that can do nationwide

I got an IONIQ 5 SE for $241 per month for 24 months 12,000 miles, $650 acquisition fee, 220.95 dealer fee and first payment due at signing ($1,112.22). All done through Amazon Autos. Ordered at 3AM, picked up at noon from local dealer.
