Ceramic IR (CIR): ~$550-650
CXP: ~$450-$500
Definitely depends on the car as something like the Model 3 seems to be more expensive for the big back windshield. Sam, the owner, is very nice. He’s a one man shop and that’s why I am happy to support him.
On my next car I plan to keep, I’ll be trying Evolve. But several friends have already and enjoy it. On paper, the specs are comparable or better to the latest from Xpel, 3M…etc
TBH, when I could get a full car tinted with the front windshield for $400 in CXP, that’s the route I would probably take most often. The specs on CXP are excellent when you consider tint levels of 20% and darker. I’ve had 18% on an Audi and the performance was well received by the wife! And many more who have ridden in that car and wondered why it was so cool on a hot day.
But for science, I’m also thinking to “try the latest and greatest, something new” on the next car. But I’m also always paying more
