My dad is picking one up (executive loaner, 2400 miles) and I’d like to hack a bit for him.
Does anyone know the MF and residual on this vehicle? How many security deposits can you do on a Benz? Up to 10?
thanks,
mackie

Post all your MF/RV questions on Edmunds forums, they have all the up to date numbers for most models/makes. Make sure you post on the 2018 GLE thread.
10 is the max MSDs, some leases don’t need 10 to get the MF to the minimum, but I’m betting you need 10 for a GLE.
Just ran the numbers based on what I saw for Minneapolis, it was 7 MSD’s. Seems like a much better deal to lease right now (basically 0% MF) vs buy (best you can get from MB is like 3.9%)
Waiting for them to come back with OKC numbers on Edmonds. Thankas again.
Did you adjust the RV for mileage? (2400 - 500) *.20 = $380 (add to the sales price to trick the calc)
Doesn’t seem like a great deal, due to the taxes due up front imo…
What changes on a 24 month term? The MF and RV would be different, but if the MF is similarly low, and RV goes up 3-4% it might be a much better deal.
No, I just took the numbers they gave me for 24/10 and 36/10 on Edmunds.com
.00002 MF and 59%/53% residual for 24/36 months
With 24 months it’s lease hacker score 8 years, 611 a month. With 36 months its 9.8 at $509 a month.
And taxes are paid that way in OKC, 4.5% on the total sales price, no way around it.
I really just want free money, which this basically is. It’s for my dad and it’s either 0% money factor or buying outright for 3.5-4%, which is way worse. He’ll switch cars in 3 years probably so I don’t see how it’s a bad deal, except for RV being lower than expected. It’s the car he wants, so not a lot I can do about RV.
17% off MSRP as well.
While I agree the RV is low, not sure there is much I can do about that, it’s just the market in OKC I’d guess.
It will be a little bit more because of the mileage penalty, but the rest of the numbers look fine.
How come you didn’t put the acq fee in? I also doubt your doc fee is only $80 in OKC. Last, I’d roll in as much as possible into the monthly as the MF is so low.
Yeah add another $30 a month or so maybe for fees…and yea I’d roll it in, free cash.
