Looking for input on my insurance cost — does this seem reasonable?

I’m currently paying $548/month for insurance on two leased vehicles:

  • 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ (MSRP ~$55k)
  • 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (MSRP ~$50k)

Both cars are leased, so they require full coverage.

Drivers on the policy:

  • Male, 54
  • Female, 53
  • Male, 21 (that’s me) All of us have clean driving records — no tickets or accidents.

Coverage details:

  • $1 million liability coverage
  • $300,000 uninsured motorist coverage
  • $5,000 medical payments (med pay)
  • $1,000 deductible

We live in Mission Viejo, California (zip code 92692).

Just wondering — does $548/month seem reasonable for this setup, or should I be shopping around? I’d really appreciate any insight!

Seems very high; I’d shop around a lot more. Call the usual suspects, and even smaller insurance companies. At $6k+ a year, I’d be shopping a lot… or looking at getting rid of the EVs lol

Edit: just noticed the “male 21” part… yeah, that may be the biggest cost driver. Still, shop…

3 drivers, a 21 year old male, 2 EVs in Mission Viejo with those limits at that monthly?

Even if you can do better that is not unreasonable at all.
