Looking for Feedback: 2023 Subaru Outback Limited-- WA

I’m looking to finance a 2023 Subaru Outback Limited here in WA, but it’s been quite a challenge as I don’t know if what I’ve been receiving is a good deal to take or not.

If you guys can make suggestions and tips that would be lovely.

I’m open to lease as well if it makes more sense for the situation.

Current MSRP: $39,368
VIP PRICE (if you qualify for straight invoice) $36,516
Tax 9.4% $3,432.50
Documentation fee $200
Tabs/license $depends on where you will register the vehicle
OUT THE DOOR $40,148.50+tabs/license

@jeisensc can these be had for less than VIP? Or is that realistically the best for now?

I’ve seen some ads in marketplace below invoice, but if OP has VIP that’s not a bad deal. With VIP that dealer should also offer warranty with minimal markup (in some states that adds 2y/24k service, not sure about WA specially) and no markup on financing.

23s should definitely discount more than the 24s (Subaru ended 23 MY production wayyy early), no differences AFAIK.

OP could have had my 22 with Gold warranty and tint for $34,500 if they were a few weeks earlier, but maybe they wanted the new nosejob.
