Not going to tell you how to spend your money, I’m just saying don’t expect outsized value for your lease dollars when looking at these cars.
go i8 then and get a 530/540 and you will be at what you are with an m5, I just don’t think m8 is appropriately valued when looking at leases, too high.

I was actually thinking I should hold off and get an M5 or i8 and hold it for a year and see if the prices on the M8 go down to $1600.
If not, just get myself a X5M when it comes out and call it a day.
m8 prices will go down, just takes time for the shine to wear off of a newly released model.
x5M will be an animal though, probably faster and roomier than the m8.

Exactly. That’s why I’m so hesitant to pull the trigger on the M8 because I know the X5M will come out next year and I’ll don’t know how many people will take on a M8 at $1880.
I know it’ll be easier to get out of a M5 or i8.
You don’t put a price tags on thinks you like. If the M8 goes down by $100 per month, it’s really not a huge difference.
Yet, you’re driving a car you like.
But you could save money and drive something you’ll hate.
But I can’t see someone doing an 1800 on a BMW! a BMW is an entry level luxury car.
For that budget, shop something with animals such as horses and bulls or wings on the logo
