Loaner availability rate

I can’t find the pattern but how do dealers decide when to release loaners for leasing?

Are they released evenly throughout the year or do they take a large batch of cars and release them at the same time? Even the mileage differs for the same manufacturer across dealerships.

Anyone know how it works that can explain?

I haven’t really noticed a pattern tbh. They usually just release them before they hit 15k miles so that they can lease them. Some dealers do just rack up the miles and try to just sell them CPO. Also when a new redesign comes along they dump the older model loaners once they have some inventory of the new one. I find it helpful to reach out the dealers about loaners rather than just checking online. Sometimes they have loaners that are not listed on the site. Your service advisor can also let you know if any are coming soon doesn’t hurt to ask them when you go in for service.
