Like EV's? Like Camping or Van Life? Welcome to the Boulder Trailer

The Boulder! It’s a Trailer! It’s a spare battery for your EV!

How pissed off will someone be when they go to an EA station and find out you are using 2 Plugs to charge the car and trailer at the same time! haha

Its like a Rube Goldberg machine. Tow heavy batteries so you can recharge your ev from range lost due to towing heavy batteries.

What would be really cool is if Elon made a system of external batteries that could be jettisoned like multistage rockets

Cool idea, but not that attractive imho. The irony of pulling the added weight of extra batteries that decrease your range so you can charge your car from those batteries.

Found something similar on the COSTCO site…lol

It’s a 3.6KWh battery, that charges using a J1772. Would it work at EA? Or will EA fry it? lol.

I’ve seen this and would love to have one for off grid camping, but can’t justify it when a $450 generator has 10x more utility.

If you like the sound and smell of a propane engine

Only 3.5g’s

True, 52 dBA is not whisper quiet, but drones on and is pretty unnoticeable.

I wanted to pair one of those ecoflow batteries with their generator (https://www.costco.com/.product.100972939.html) and some solar panel, but couldn’t see the real win as the generator still has to run if you are putting A/C load on the battery for very long.

I see it’s real utility is at night, you get power AND no noise.

Daytime, well use the Solar to charge it, if that 1600 is correct, then it takes 2.5 hours to recharge it.
