Lexus TX - Current lease options and luck getting dealership interest

Lease newbie here. I’m trying to find a lease for a Lexus TX (base or premium) and I’m finding it near impossible to get any of the Lexus dealerships near me to become interested in providing information. Do dealerships not like leases?

I’m in New Orleans. Should I reach out to Houston for better luck? New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Mobile have been non responsive.

What kind of info are you looking for? Very easy to find by looking in the Marketplace and finding comparative deals. Easiest way is to pay a broker and have one shipped to you or find someone that has TX deals.

Alternatively, sign up as a Super Supporter and you’ll have access to RateFindr to work your own deals. Welcome and good luck!

I looked there and I’m not seeing much of anything on the TX.

also looking for just general advice on how to get their attention or if it should even be that hard.

If you reach out to a Lexus dealer telling them you’re interested in a TX, they’re just going to tell you to come in.

Have you test driven one yet?

If you’re interested in leasing one, have you

  • read the leasing 101 articles here on the site?
  • Researched recent lease deals and what the current programs are?

Once you’re ready to make offers with concrete numbers to the dealers, that is really the time to start reaching out.

You’ll only get their attention with a firm offer and intent to act on it quickly. Anything beyond that out of state they won’t care.

For out of town dealers, I think the TX sells decently so that also makes them less likely to want to help. Why spend time helping you when somebody local will buy it.

Lexus leases suck so presumably they don’t want to lose a lead by providing such atrocious quotes.

If you want a TX, the only strategy that makes sense is to buy it.

If you want to lease a 3-row with a premium badge, Infiniti QX60.

If badge doesn’t matter then Palisade Calligraphy and Pathfinder Platinum are arguably the best values.

The only information you need to be asking a dealership for is a “yes” or “no” to your offer.

I can get you 10% off from a nearby state. Text me if interested 516-550-3707
