hi everyone! I have been on here a while now and debating on what a good deal is for Lexus Rx FSport. The one I want is around $66k and I got two offers… one is for $1k down $900 a month and the other is $900 down $900 a month both 15k miles per year and 36 months, registering car in NJ. I am assuming December is probably a better time to go?

What is your target deal?
Purchasing a leftover model year improves your chances of a dealer willing to deal. The end of the month and end of the fiscal year often yield better results as well. There is no guaranteed timing for the best deals, regarding the time of year anyway.
Have you looked in the Marketplace here? What do brokers currently offer on RX350 F-Sports in Northeast in terms of dealer discount?
Then you construct your target deal with the discount + buy rate + whatever incentives and shop it around.
That is true, I’d like to be no more than $700 p/m. I have a lease now that I am a year in so I think I should wait until I can break even. TY!

What is that based off of? You need to create a reasonable target deal, based off of real numbers.
I’m guessing you have about 2 years remaining in your current lease? Unless you have equity, it’s a bit early to begin shopping.
