I am looking to lease a 2025 Lexus RX450h+. My home State of Idaho does not receive allocations of these so looking at nearby States.
I have the below terms on a lease which I would pay off as soon as possible. Please realize when reviewing these terms my options are limited as I have to travel.
The MF is .0037 and residual is 55% and hard to see I know.
Please let me know your opinion on this deal.
Thank you.
Lol I bet everyone on LH is going to tell you to not lease a Lexus because their leases are trash. And the + of these latest PHEV RX isn’t worth the extra money.
There’s a low-miles used 2022 450h on Carmax… $54k with 13k miles. Basically a new car since it’s a Lexus. Plus F-Sport looks cooler.
Welcome to the community! It’s a good thing you found yourself here because that offer may be in competition for one of the worst ever.
In general Lexus products work best when purchased, but if you’re trying to leverage the existing electric incentive on a lease buyout, you’ll first want to run as fast as you can from this dealer.
I’m not familiar with a target discount for this vehicle, but you may have luck researching broker offers and in Signed and signed deals. Then cast a far and wide net while accounting for shipping costs. Make definitive, well researched offers and do not ask dealers what they would like you to pay.
Learn here how to tell them exactly what earns your money.
Have you contacted LH brokers who work w/ Lexus to see what their price is and if they can ship to you?
If you are doing an immediate buyout (and I wouldn’t disclose to the dealership that are doing that), then the only thing that matters is the pre-rebate/-incentive discount. The MF is unimportant, and the RV is not negotiable.
You’re the only person in the entire state of Idaho that wants the PHEV RX brand new haha.
Peterson Lexus has a TX 500H. If they do 5% off I’m thinking the vast majority of people would be happier with that car than the PHEV RX for $1,000 less (net of the $7,500 rebate).
Looking outside of ID, the main issue is you’re not local. These RX PHEV allocations are tough to move interstate due to headaches with paperwork. Their days on lot are so low the dealerships have zero interest to move out of their franchise zone unless they gouge.
I know someone that just picked up one of the RX 450h+ from Lexus in Colma, CA. They’re all priced like this and move with negative inventory carry since they’re sold before they arrive on the lot. They were also told they have to keep the lease active for 6 months after signing. The dealers are having customers sign that when they’re with F&I so the dealer makes sure to make their $ on the lease.
