Lexus IS500 MMR

Found an inbound 2023 Lexus IS500 at MSRP and I was wondering if it is still a good flip candidate. MY22 was a short production run so not a lot of used ones out there but can someone please share the MMR on it? Lexus forum says in CA they still sell at big markups but not sure if that applies to the rest of the country…

Probably not in CA. Sales tax/reg would eat a lot.

If flipping a lease, sales tax doesn’t matter much

Can only sell tfs leases to toyota/lexus dealers. Not sure if theres even a program for the is500

I’ve sold many TFS/LFS leases to third-party dealers. I know you can’t sell Toyota Southeast leases though if that’s what you’re referring to.

Interesting…i guess it changed back

OP here, I will purchase it since my trade (EV6) is a purchase and the sales tax will roll into the new car if I am trading it in. I am just looking for data and opinions if the new 2023 IS500 at MSRP is a good value…

I would gladly drive an IS500, but not sure if you will make money on it like a Stellantis product.

Yup. Thankfully Lexus does not have an SETF offbrand. LFS all the way.
