I have a top-level contact with Lexus who affirmed what I already knew, that no Lexus lease is a reasonable value. My leases have been low enough always to have equity. I’m at 5k. For my 22 ES350 Ultra luxury. Even with the highest discount and no holdback, still no good.

Just for the He** of it, I said, find your “Best” deal on the car with the most margin, most significant discount, oldest; basically, the one nobody wanted. It was a Lexus IS 350 F sport. Here is the sheet!

Ignore the ultra-lux

Looks like 0.002 Mark up on MF. 4.8%, wow

This was in the calc

What calc?

I just built it using edmund numbers and kept adding 0.001 until the payment was close

Agreed I had a IS350 for $387 with 0 DAS 30 months ago. Now selling it since my lease is up. Quickly browsed Lexus leases… prices are crazy.

Paid ~$14,600 single pay (including CA sales tax and 1st year DMV) for GS F Sport 36/10 in December 2016 - those were the Lexus glory days of leasing;)

So basically $1K a month for a car that’s only $50K and has a 2014 interior.
