Leveling Kit on a Leased Truck

Hi All, I am curios to see if anyone had any experience returning a leased truck with a leveling kit. I am probably going to keep the truck at the end of the lease or there is a good chance it will be worth more than the RV given the buyout number but I was curios to see if there is anyone out there who returned a lease with a leveling kit. I am thinking about doing a proper level with Bilstein shocks etc. not just stupid blocks that will mess with the driving dynamics of the truck (control arm/ball joints geometry will be same as stock).

I own an automotive aftermarket company. We do everything from 2" leveling kits to 16" 25k lifts, crawlers, desert racers, you name it. Several of the people who level their trucks lease them. You’ll have no problem as worst case scenario, if you have to return it to stock, a leveling kit can be easily removed and put back to stock. I know what the contracts say, but I’ve never heard of anybody caring about a leveling kit on a truck. Used to be in the cart business as well. Saw them comment in all the time with Leveling kits. Btw, with what you’re talking about doing, you might as well just do a 4" lift on the truck.

I thought about a 4” lift but the truck was supposed to be the daily that is practical and low key with my other cars being as obnoxious as they are lol. I think leveling with some 20*12’s should give it a good stance that does not make me want to cry everytime I look at it because of the rake lol. Thank you for your input.

You won’t be able to squeeze a 20x12 without some serious trimming on a 2" leveling kit.

It is a Ram 1500 I have seen it on other trucks with no trim, if it doesn’t work 10’s should do it going 33 tall.

33’s will be fine. 35’s with a 20x10 up to about a -12 offset would work too. Rams and fords are great. Round fenders. GM’s suck.

This is a sample of what we do. You can pm me if you have any questions on pretty much anything truck or off-road related.

That looks sick thank you for your help!!

By sick, do you mean :face_vomiting:?

J/k. To each his own.

If you don’t like that, you’ll probably hate this even more. Lol
