Leasing Questions

I’m considering the lease of a [Hyundai] Genesis and stumbled on this forum (AWD, leather) I am in the east (NJ/NY) but making the move to WV. I realize that the incentives that were previously offered are no longer offered on the Genesis.
As I browse the different dealerships ive wondered whether it would make sense to lease a 2015 used model instead of a brand new model. I’ve never leased. … hence the question.

In a lease does the car still come with bumper to bumper warranty or do I need to purchase that?

At the end of the lease if I wanted to purchase the car would I be paying the difference between the original car cost minus lease payments (selling price- lease payments = what i would pay) or will I pay the used market value of the vehicle?

Im trying to research as much as possible but im military and don’t have much free time on my hands. No internet during the week!

This is a great site. Thank you

As a side note I would consider the infiniti Q50 and I haven’t found those deals either.

I’m not hundred percent sure but I don’t think you can typically lease two year old car. Just 2016/2017 models.

Manufacturer warranty usually exists up to 36,000 miles. Maintainence is usually nothing you need to worry about on a lease.

The price you pay at the end is agreed upon from the beginning. It is essentially the estimated market price of the car for when your lease term ends. Youll see it referred to as the residual value.

It’s definitely not the diff between the cost and how much you paid for the lease. Only a part of your lease payment actually pays for the depreciation. You’re also paying interest, taxes, acquisition fee, title/registration, etc.

im looking for some deals in the NJ area for Infiniti Q50 AWD. Does anyone have any leads/dealerships to recommend in the NJ area? I’d like to try and get something today with all the black friday buzz going on. Id consider the Genesis too but i cant find any good deals there either. struggling here

There are a ton of Infiniti dealerships here in Jersey. I’d start emailing them to see what they say. If you wait for a response, you could be waiting for days or weeks. Maybe you’ll find an amazing dealer so you can share…

And deals on the Genesis are long gone, so don’t waste your time on that.
