Leasing CPO Mercedes

Hi,

I see certain dealerships advertising leasing CPO behicles online, but all seem out of state for me (IL).

I’m heading by the local dealership later on today, but has anyone leased or know if you can/cannot lease used Mercedes vehicles in the Chicagoland?

I assume it’s due to banking rules/relationships but just wanted to check here.

I ask to 2 different dealer and they are able to lease CPO for 2017 models that they use as demo or courtesy cars. Just be careful because for example a C300 CPO was 35k with 4k miles and when i check on truecar I found a dealer that is able to give the C300 at 35.5k for a car with the same msrp of 41k. Normally on new car is easy to negotiate a lower price and also implement MSD, because on CPO sometimes they dont want to give better deal because is “already really cheap”.

SO my advice with CPO first review the truecar and other websites with the lowest selling price and that is your start point to negotiate a CPO.

I’ve recently looked into this as well and I was told by Mercedes Benz Financial that they do not offer leases for CPO vehicles. However, there is a MB dealer in Colorado offering leases on CPO, but you have to live in the state and the lease was through a Credit Union.

Thanks, it seems like a municipality thing, if there are banks willing to give financing in CPO, then it will happen.

Nothing like that in the Chicagoland area.
