Leasing a certified BMW

I saw recently that BMW is able to lease certified pre-owned vehicles. Wondering if residuals are decent enough to make it worthwhile given the current used car climate. Anyone look into this recently?

Used cars don’t have standard residuals like new cars (ex. Xx% of MSRP) - instead they are fixed dollar based (BMW has a table of residual $$ by year/model which gets adjusted for mileage). Basically that means there is no way to tell for sure until you pick a specific car and have them run a lease based on that cars selling price and residual value. Typically used car leases aren’t good though unless you find a really, really good selling price vs. market value.

Yes you can. But NOPE - in my experience as a former LH broker doing 10s of dozens of BMWs, CPO leases that were not loaners or demos which qualified for new car programs - sucked.
