Here is an initial offer for a BMW M240i convertible I received.
MF = 0.00148
Residual = 55%
I feel like I can probably get the payments done a bit. What do you guys think? I’m thinking of countering with 0 down payment, $500/ month payments? Hoping to get the car for around $550/month?
What do you think?

So you want an additional $63xx discount? No way that’s possible.

Your unrealistic expectations and lack of reason make you seem like the nightmare customer. Why do you think your counteroffer is even plausible?

The best you can probably do is 13-14% off, but more likely around 12% off, before incentives with base MF.

So we’re talking $560-570/month?
How much down?
Have you considered any of the numerous BMW brokers on here? AutoNation doesn’t have the best reputation for giving great deals.

.00113 MF? Is that post MSDs? What is it pre-msds?
Those inception fees seem really high.
yes the .00113 MF is post MSDs.
Pre-MSDs was .00148
It’s an Autonation dealership

Wow, you got an AutoNation dealer to only mark it up .0002. I’m impressed they didn’t go for the gusto.

Honestly just reach out to a broker, it’s the best $400 you will spend this year.

You are at 10% off MSRP with a marked up MF. I think you can do better.
Maybe @GAngellBMW , @Samson or @BMW_Dave can offer you something better?

got a score of 8
This is an irrelevant number. The LH score is a useless metric

The most expensive M240i I have is a Coupe at $52k. Might be a stretch.
Can a broker place an order for a new car to be built?
