Leasehackr Score on 4Runner

I’m getting a 7.1 Leasehackr Score on a 4Runner which is because it’s difficult to get much of a discount in my area on 4Runners (very popular) so it’s only 5% off MSRP.

How much attention should I pay to that score? I’d normally consider anything under $120 monthly cost per 10K to be a decent lease and this meets that requirement, although barely.

I read another post on here that broke the Leasehackr scores down like this:

14+ unicorn/Prime
12+ Great
10+ Good
8+ Average
Below 8 needs work or choose a different vehicle.

The Leasehackr score isn’t relevant when looking at a specific Make/Model. If you just want a high Leasehackr score the 4Runner is the wrong vehicle

Whomever wrote that was making stuff as they went. The LH score is pretty irrelevant.

First, where is your area?

I’m in Oregon.

Yep, it was normal @vhooloo’s BS

The point here is that the 4Runner doesn’t have any benefit to leasing versus financing.

High LH score = more benefit for leasing.

This is what the basic numbers look like. I’m including a set OR tax with the Govt Fees.

As others have said Toyota’s hold value and purchase is the way to go on a 4runner.

I am doing $4,000 off of 4Runners in my state.
I can’t lease out of state though

Just buy the thing lol. If you want a high leasehackr score, apply for the Oregon Clean vehicle rebate program and hack a bolt. You get 2500 bucks back, more if low income.

I’m mainly just curious if this is a particularly bad deal on a 4Runner. I wouldn’t want to buy or put a large amount of money down, etc. for a variety of reasons.

You are right on invoice

Yeah, 5% off is the best I can do after looking for a month. Most places won’t budge off MSRP and I’ve called myself AND used a broker. I’ve never leased anything for less than 10-15% off MSRP but I’ve never leased a Toyota.

Buy it from me, and I will ship it!

I got a pretty good deal last Sept for mine at Vancouver Toyota.
