Leasehackr Meme Lounge (Part 1)

More like Bonanza and Daktari

Then they are 10+ Years Older than the target demo (buyers of toys and lunch boxes) for this cartoon when it first ran — e.g. those 50-somethings were probably baby sitting.

50+ starts in 1973. That makes them 10..the perfect age for it.

The 10 year olds watching GI Joe at that time were being beat up by proper teenagers (I used to watch it happen). Probably my most vivid ā€œfirst week of schoolā€ without my parents as a little guy (at the bus stop) was someone slightly older’s GI Joe lunch box and thermos being launched by a 13 year old — those Thermos were not nearly as indestructible as they claimed.

I was a fan of other contemporaries, but that was definitely targeted at the younger crowd.

Pretty much any cartoon watching made you are target for bullies back then. I’m not saying they yelled out Yo Joe! back then, you were 10, and it ID’d you as a nerd!

I’m just saying that just like singing the Conjunction Junction song, the GI Joe statement does identify you as a 50+.

I’m saying your stereotyping is wrong and going to get you in trouble eventually.

False if you were age appropriate watching an age appropriate show.

We are in the Meme lounge right? lol

I’m just a bill…

From what I remember back then ā€˜age appropriate’ was going the cool neighbor kids house that had an ON TV decoder. I don’t recall anyone talking about cartoons in the ā€˜cool kid world’, it was more about who had a car and what clothes they were wearing. Though I do remember that he had a Atari 2600 and everyone wanted to play that.

Edit: I do remember one ā€˜cool’ cartoon. Heavy Metal.

If I asked ChatGPT ā€œhow can you misuse leasing to make a huge financial mistake?ā€ It would pull the justifications from that thread :grimacing::zipper_mouth_face:

ChatGPT is spitting facts.

Using Leasehackr.com to find a good lease deal can be a helpful tool, but it’s important to remember that leasing a car can still be a financial mistake if you don’t use the website responsibly. Here are some ways that you could misuse Leasehackr.com to make a huge financial mistake:

  1. Not understanding the terms of the lease: Even if you find a good deal on Leasehackr.com, it’s important to carefully read and understand the terms of the lease before signing anything. Make sure you understand how much you’ll be paying each month, what fees and charges are included, and what happens at the end of the lease.
  2. Not considering the total cost of ownership: While Leasehackr.com can help you find a good lease deal, it’s important to consider the total cost of ownership when deciding whether leasing is the right choice for you. Make sure to consider any additional fees or charges, as well as the long-term cost of leasing compared to buying a car.
  3. Leasing a car that is too expensive: If you lease a car that is too expensive for your budget, you may have difficulty making the monthly payments. This can lead to financial strain and potentially even default on the lease.
  4. Not budgeting for additional costs: Leasing a car typically involves additional costs, such as a down payment, a security deposit, and fees for excess mileage and wear and tear. Make sure you budget for these costs and that you can afford them before you sign the lease.

In summary, using Leasehackr.com responsibly can help you find a good lease deal, but it’s important to carefully read and understand the terms of the lease, consider the total cost of ownership, choose a car that is within your budget, and budget for additional costs.
