i made a Jetsons joke today and it went over like a ton of bricks.

Were cartoons black and white during your era? Or they had color?

I actually picked up one of those calls (back when actual people were on the phone), because I was curious how idiotic the scam was. I kid you not, they were âsellingâ a bumper-to-bumper 15 yr/unlimited mile warrant for $400⌠I was laughing so hard, the lady hung up on me.
I wouldâve thought as an internet forum this wouldâve been mostly people under 50 versus people over 50⌠?
I would argue that a large majority of the memberâs here are under 50.
Internet forums are overwhelmingly filled with Boomers and Gen X. Makes sense since millennials and gen z have social media, so no need for forums.
There is a watch forum I frequent and I am surprised they donât ask for an AARP card to join. People post what watches they wear everyday and most of them are men over 60 judging by the wrinkled skin.
Who do they think built the fucking things?
Incoming in 3, 2, 1⌠âwhat is a wristwatch?â
We have a special place for this. Opened by a 20 yo kid, if Iâm not mistaken?
Iâm also GenX but we arenât the same:)
Back in USSR days of my childhood I vividly remember our first TV being black and white but we had sound so it was not silent movies.
Oh, and our childhood pics are all black and white also:)
Wouldnât that be generation âKhaâ?
