The 1% rule assumes $0 down. You put money down, so your slightly above 1% at $487/month. On that, you did fine.

Grand Cherokees lease a lot better, but if you need the third row, not an option.

Did they take the trade in cash in addition to the money you put down or does the cash down include the 1100 from the trade?

Due-at-signing was first month’s payment plus acquisition/doc/DMV fees. Does not include trade-in. Trade-in cash was applied to cap cost along with factory incentives.

At that price (or even higher factoring in his trade in) I’d have a hard time choosing a Durango over a Highlander or even an end of model year 2018 MDX.
