Can someone give an idea of what I should be offering as a good incentive to get this car moved?

If you can get the price point to the low $700s you may have better luck.

I’m not a rims guy, but those rims are epic.

Ouch ok thanks

This one is going to be tough to move here…

I’m sorry but if you search the forum you will see there were several of these people got in the $700s recently. No doubt crazy deals due to the new model arriving soon , however doesn’t help your case here. I would try the lease swapping websites.

Searching this forum for M3 doesn’t work because the search phrase is too short. Then searching for BMW M3 bring up tons of 3-series.

Do an advanced search to only search titles and even limit it to shared deals or whatever. Still have a bunch of M340 deals show up but certainly some threads on similar M3s.

Unfortunately NY state is the worst with sales tax as most people would likely be paying tax on top of the existing payment.

Nice looking ride though… good luck!

I think the simplest thing for you to do will be to take the car to Carmax, maybe your local dealer and Carvana/Vroom to get a sense for how much negative equity you would have if you sold the car vs the payoff amount. With that as your baseline you can decide how much of a hit you can take. If the amount paid in an incentive would end up being higher than just eating some negative equity you have your answer.

Why are you trying to exit the unit?

I always wanted an M3 so I got one. I had my fun with it but now want to move on to other things. I also had a Tesla last fall but had problems with it. They bought it back from me and now I’m going to give them another go.

Thanks Siejammy. I don’t need to get out of the lease just would like to. I can just keep the car. Thanks for the Carmax idea.

Carvana is retailing a 2018 M3 for around 60k, so it looks like 10k negative equity on this at least…

Man, Tesla build quality is worse now than ever. I’d keep the Bimmer if you can afford the monthly.

M3 competitions?

Search for “BMW M3 Competition” and you will find many.

Wow some people got unicorn M3s for 500-550 a month lol!

Yeah that kind of burns. But it is what it is.
