Lease Takeover: 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC - $499 Month - $52K MSRP

Hi Hackrs,

I am wanting to see if this is a good deal? I am looking at assuming a lease on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC. Original MSRP: $52,785.

Length: 14 Months
Downpayment: $0
Monthly Payment: $499
Miles: 1,336/month

Incentive: $1,000

Prepaid Maintenance & Lease Protection included as well.

who is paying the transfer fee?
what are the condition of the tires on a car that’s 2 years old? A set of new runflats will cost you about $1000 or so.
Also are you going to stay with Mercedes after? If not they charge a hefty 595 disposition fee.

The $1,000 incentive can be used toward the transfer fee. The car also has brand new tires. There is a good chance we will stay with Mercedes after.

Hi
I am offering 548$/mo for a C450 AMG, 11 mos, ~1600 miles/mo, 61000MSRP/ 34800 to buy at end of lease. I would say my deal is significantly better /

if the tires are new and you’re going to stay with mercedes anyway, then it’s not bad considering it’s a fairly loaded one. You can have a 45k non 4-matic loaner for under $400/mo in comparison but if you only want short term with a lot of miles this isn’t bad. If would take the $1000 incentive and tell the seller to split the transfer fee if he’s not already paying for it.

How did you pick this when there are so many cheaper transfers out there?

Just because the length of the lease. I just need something short term with plenty of miles. Also I don’t want to have a car shipped and I live in Idaho. Not many good options around that are close to home. Also has to be AWD.

Where are you located?

How many miles do you need?

At least 1,100 / month. Also has to be something that has lots of options and not a base model.

There’s RWD cars for less… you can get a set of barely used snow tires for 50% of list price, you only need to use them one season anyway and then sell them for half of what you paid.

That is the vehicle I am looking at. It is AWD.
