Lease Return - Tire Replacement Cost?

I’m returning a 2019 Honda Civic LX in 5 days. Just my luck–one of the tires went flat today, and it’s probably irreparable.

If I return the car in this condition, how much should I expect to be charged for a replacement tire? Will the dealer charge so much that I should go through the hassle of replacing it myself? (With some minor dings, I’m already over the $500 damage waiver.)

Did you check if you have equity before just turning the car in?
Most likely you will be charged the full rate for a replacement tire and labor so probably in the 2-400$ range for a same exact matching tire depending on the size.

Just get a used one from local tire shop for $25

Typically it’s $100 per tire.
Not sure how you are going to turn in a car without a working tire.

It’s on a spare now. Damaged tire is in the trunk.

Someone stole my entire wheel a week before returning last lease. I bought the rim online and got a new tire and that’s all I could do.

Get a used or new tire and call it a day. Way easier than the alternative

Ooo a spare, haven’t seen one of those on my cars in years…hehe just a can of fix-a-flat.

How important is it to match the brand of the remaining tires? The lease agreement is silent on that issue; it just says the tires have to be in working order with sufficient tread.

So OP, have you decided what to do?
Honestly eat course of action is to get a used tire replacement.
