Lease Return: Mercedes MOE (Runflat) tires question

Hi All,

Returning my lease next month. The two rear tires are at the 3/4 / 32nds life.

Looking to purchase used tires and return the car.

I found a used set of the original OEM Continental tires but I don’t think the ones I found has MOE (Mercedes MOExtended) has the designation on the sidewall. It could be they are run flats but wasn’t designed for Mercedes so didn’t have it?

Am curious if Mercedes or even Autovin will not consider them non-runflats (original) and still charge me for a new tire. Anyone come across something similar?

If there’s no MOE or RFT designation, then it’s not runflat. Autovin frankly wasn’t very meticulous when they inspected our E-Class, but I’d find a replacement MOE tire just in case. Don’t want to leave the future owner stranded if they get a flat!
