Hey guys been lurking for a while i’m ready to attempt my first hack the tile states what i’m looking for. I’m open to all suggestions not interested in hybrids or electric cars. I know i have to do the leg work but i was hoping u guys had some suggestions for me. It seems like there are a lot of good deals in California right now also do u guys know of any Cali dealers who will lease to out of state residents. Any info would be helpful thanks again guys.
Way too vague to even begin helping.
Read the share deals sub forum and use the search for cars you are interested in. Use Edmunds to figure out the residual and MF for various cars and the calculator here to play around and figure out what discounts you need to hit under $300.
On the top of my head you should be able to get a Chevy spark under that $300 number pretty easily.
Ok I was thinking about a Toyota Camry SE what’s a good number to target as a discount off MSRP?
Not sure where you’re located but I am located in KY and was quoted $242/mo 24/12 $0 drive off for a Corolla SE.
$251/mo 24/12 $0 drive off for a Rav4 LE fwd
Both true sign and drive including 6% tax. Seemed like reasonable numbers. Just to give you some ideas.
Thanks for that info I’m in UT.
Ok guys the Toyota dealer got back with me with me with a quote on the Camry SE.
MSRP
26,548
Internet price
24,729
lease cash $750
selling price
23,979
MF.00001 RV 55% 36/12 buyout at lease end
$14,601 my tax rate is 6.85
He rolled everything into lease payment only thing due is first months payment then 35 more payments.
$259 I think there is more meat on the bone they are not discounting car alot i don’t know if i’m off base but this doesn’t seem like to great of a deal.
Have you shopped around with other dealers? You can try asking others to beat it.
