I’ve got 16 days left till my Jeep is due back and still shopping for a replacement. If unsuccessful, I’ll likely extend month to month with CCAP until I find the next car (CCAP confirmed I can extend up to 6 months).
Should I go ahead with the turn in inspection now, even if I end up extending 1 or more months?
Yes. I would have called and scheduled one last month. 2 weeks isnt much time to address any issues, 6 is still cutting it close if you need to order used tires.
Tires are already squared away, popped a set of nearly new tires on a week or two ago.
I ended up setting it up for next week (earliest available). The car is in great shape overall so I don’t expect anything to come up TBH. I did get in an accident about two years ago and they replaced my grill with a different color (black instead of silver) at my request. All OEM parts, but curious if they will say anything about it. Worst case I can swap it myself back to silver for $100 in parts.
If you’re like most people you’ll settle for the path of least resistance, which is just extending and doing nothing. Unless you really like the car, you should light a fire under your own ass and get to work on finding something by June 30.
Just a brief uninteresting update. Lease inspection was today and no issues, car passed with flying colors.
