Lease End EV9 - Looking at Ioniq 9

Currently at the end of my 2-year, 20k lease for my EV9 GT-Line (September). Toying with trying the ION9, one of the higher trims, most likely the Calligraphy. I understand that I won’t receive any special credits since I am not going back to an EV9.

I can lease either in Texas or Colorado. I know Texas is not one of the better states to lease, but Colorado has high registeration fees. It equals out as best as I can tell, so either location is fine. Any tips or known “credits” since Kia is a sister company of Hyundai? Just starting my search, so not sure what the market is doing right now. I am a Costco member, but I typically can do better. Any tips, great deals or other info to help me start narrowing it down would be appreciated.

There’s no secret incentive as a Kia owner. Inventory is super limited so I’d expect to overpay in this environment.

Look at Houston dealers. Ignore Waco — they’re idiots.

I just grabbed an ioniq 9 about a week ago for 10% pre-incentive. Took me several months to find someone to play though and it was a last day of the quarter hail mary.

He already told us. Several months in the making + last day of the quarter Hail Mary.

Put together a well-researched target deal, and on the last day of the quarter, I made an unambiguous, immediately-actionable offer to the dealer. Had to ship from several states away.
