Looking for advice on F-150 early lease end for NJ - 7 months remaining on our truck. Approaching Mileage on lease. We would like to get out early and swap into something much less expensive due to life circumstances. Are there any options anyone can come up with?
Its a 2023 F-150 XLT - 597/month. 7 Months Remaining. $44360 approximate buyout. Close to 10k upside down. My only guess is if any manufacturers have some solid incentives/customer cash offers to help eat up some of that equity or buy out the payments.
Looking for a mid-sized suv. Two rows is fine, 3 is ideal.
Open to suggestions. Main goal is to save as much money as possible here.
That’s just salesman-speak; in reality you’re just reborrowing every cent of the negative equity and repaying it with interest and tax on top.
You’re better off putting it up for transfer and offering an incentive for the next lessee to buy some more miles; do it before it’s too late. FMCC has some minimum remaining lease duration for their transfers
How many miles do you do per mo? What is the monthly cost of the predicted excess miles? Chances are, whatever you try to remedy the situation will cost more than riding out the 7 mos & just paying the over mileage fees.
