Lease deals for PA Residents

These “NE” deals appear to really only be deals for residents living in NJ/NY/CT. I’ve contacted a few brokers inquiring on their listed deals, but once I tell them I’m in PA the car is not available or the monthly costs are 10-20% higher. Is there a better place to look for lease deals for a PA resident? I’m somewhat new to this site so maybe its just the deals this month.

Doesn’t seem right. Many brokers source their cars from PA. Maybe depending on the car, there are regional incentives that don’t apply to PA? But in general, I don’t think NE deals preclude PA at all.

Well for one, if you’re leasing, your tax is higher than NJ, NY and CT

Please be as specific as possible on what you’re looking for.

Some brands do have very region-specific incentives; in this case NYC metro area specific. The difference between Union County in NJ and, say, Monmouth could be significant.

that 9% tax on the monthly payment doesn’t help.

And I believe lease tax is now 11% in Phila county. So an advertised lease of say $700 mo in Phila would be $777 AFTER TAX! But many brokers work in PA with buyers.

PA has 9-11% tax on monthly payment, but no upfront tax or tax on incentives.

NY/NJ have tax on total lease payment, tax on incentives end up being higher in many cases where there’s many incentives. I’ll take PA any day.
