What does the downpayment include? What are the lease terms? Taxes seem high since it should be only on depreciation. MF seens marked up. As it looks now, does not look like a great deal.

Is this 24 or 36 months? 10k miles or 15 k miles?
Assuming 36/10 (the most common), the total payments are roughly 800 x 36 = 28.8k + 1 k down. Yet depreciation is only 58k (sales price) - 37k (residual) = 21k. So They are making you pay 30k for 21k worth of car depreciation.

So they are overcharging you by at least 5-6k. Ask for higher discount, the taxes and money factor are too high and no need to put any down.

Ugh, the only number that looks right here is the residual. The selling price and monthly are too high. It’s also 11/29 and dealers should be motivated for month end.

Have you contacted other dealers? If not, I would.

Thanks all- very useful input. The discount looked good to me at 8% but this tells you just how much I know. Cannot find the base MF on these 2017s, it sure looked high

BTW, it was 10k/36mos not sure what’s in the taxes. Bimmers dealers not a lot around here and cannot travel.

Tax is NYS Upfront in selling price not lease

Here is another offer from a different dealer. Your calculator and their numbers are way off, cannot figure out why. I’d appreciate your help

Sd COD 3480 pretty clear but you calculator gets 648 wherease they are quoting 775. What am I doing wrong here? Today’s end of month and would liek to close this but dont quite get it.

I believe NYS taxes are upfront based as a % on the totality of the lease payments, not the selling price.
