Lease Deal Check (Denver area) Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe

Lease Deal Check!

Hey all, just curious if anyone has recent info or feedback on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe lease pricing. this quote is from the Denver metro area.

24/12, Zero down, MF .00130 (base rate, not marked up), 55% residual

MSRP $72,605
Amount off MSRP $5949.77 (just over 8% off)
Incentives
CO tax rebate - $4100
SFS hybrid - $7500
Lease cash - $8000
Total discount $25,549.77

I went in with 15% off MSRP target, got just over half way there. My plan is to keep trying until the last day of the month. I’m communicating with 6 dealers, this deal is the lowest so far.

I must be missing something with calculator, numbers not lining up for me. In CO there’s a tax rebate of $4100, but I’m not clear where to input into the calculator, so I used the taxed incentives area.

Can you post your calculator and incentive breakdow ?

Just edited the post, sorry for not including that. Numbers not aligning with lease offer, so I must have inputted wrong or dealer hiding fees/etc.

This is the main reason I asked.

Couple things worth noting:

SFS acquisition fee is $995 on these, so need to update that.

There’s $1000 jeep tdm code you want to make sure you get to include in your rebates.

Are they including CO reg fee or do you pay that separate?

The reg fee has to be paid separate directly at CO DMV around 2 months after a new car is purchased.

Reading the description of the TDM, it looks like I would need a mailer or email evidence of targeted offer?

I asked the dealer full the full lease paperwork showing all the numbers. Lets see what they do now.

I updated the calculator link with the acquisition 995 fee, still $82 bucks off their offer sheet.

the small fees $7.20 license, $40 title, and $2.22 board mounting fee. I didn’t put these in the calculator, assuming I should have. where would I enter these types of fees in the calculator?

How much are the taxes on the vehicle? I would guess You only get the amount of the actual taxes, not the whole $4100 if less.

In CO we get the whole amount $4100, either at transaction (easier this way), or you can file with taxes in which case they give the entire amount.

Doesn’t CO give a higher amount if your transfer the credit to the dealer to cover dealer pricessing, which can further be negotiated?

Dealer provided the full proposal. Was told by dealer the taxes for the rebate/incentives had to be collected up front and no way around it. Did some googling and it sounds legit/accurate, but would love to hear from all you lease experts.

thanks again for all the continued guidance, you guys are awesome

I have not seen a $4100 CO rebate. I thought the rebate was $3500 if you claim on your state income tax or, to @mllcb42 reply, $3750 if you claim at time of sale and dealer gets $250 handling fee?
Yes, I understand that CO tax (at your sales tax rate) is due on rebates/incentives at time of sale or I guess you could roll into the payments but why pay tax on tax.

$3500 tax credit + $600 assignment bonus, total is applied as cap reduction

It’s $4100, however some dealer at 250 processing fee, some dealers pass on full benefits to customer.

Agree, in Colorado, taxes are collected on rebates/incentives upfront.

Dealer discount of 8% is little less. I am not following jeep vehicles, but based on dealer inventory, you should be able to up your negotiation.

I went on a hunt for a Rubicon X in Colorado about 6 months ago and couldn’t land my deal but got reasonably close. Don’t forget to reach out to border towns like Cheyenne as they can also process CO EV rebates. I think i was targeting 10-12% on a 24’ and just couldn’t get there.

Keep shopping your packaged deal and I bet somebody will bite by next month because the fed $7500 rebate sunsets 9/30.
