Folks do you think Im getting a good deal here?
See below
Thanks
What lexus is this, have you confirmed base mf using the edmunds forum.
What’s pre incentive discount like.
Is there a trade involved in this deal.
Not a trade in involved, employee discount 5k below MSRP (family and friends), 1500 lease cash. Nor sure about the money factor but I will check with the other forum
I am assuming since it you are getting the 1500 rebate, it can only be an RX Model. Telling by the MSRP, it is a RX 350 AWD with premium package but no navigation. The money factor is correct. The only way you can lower your payment would be doing MSD’s. Employee pricing is pretty much on the dot.
Thank you for providing your feedback. Thats correct. Fully loaded 2022 RX350 AWD without the navi optin. Some of the fees seem a tad high but you know how dealers try to squeeze every dime they can. Seems a decent deal given the current market circumstances.
Leases on the RX isn’t pretty, at MSRP payments jump to the high 700s, low 800s.
Did you negotiate the employee pricing or do you qualify for it?
No he is my best friend: he works at the delearship. Basically a lease quotw for 30m/10k, 29months at $585 + $1000 (driveoff). Total lease cost ~$18k for 30months. Residual $34k at inception (54k MSRP)
Looks like an excellent deal to me!
What fees are you referring to? Dealer doc fees are capped at $85 in CA. You can use the DMV’s new vehicle fee calculator to estimate registration fees; it’s about 1.1% of MSRP. Acquisition fee is $795 and charged by Lexus Financial Services, not the dealer.
Hella good deal.
I think this is a great deal. I’m currently negotiating a deal for my GF 55.5K MSRP about 6.3% off 30/7.5 lease and the monthly is close to 600 pre-tax with 1000 drive off and max MSDs. If your friend is willing to replicate your deal please PM me his info.
From what I understand fees include acquisition, dealer, and registration.
He cannot replicate because the additinal discount of 5k off invoice is thru the Lexus employee family and friends program.
In other words, it’s delear invoice minus 5k, not MSRP discount. Delear is taking a 2k loser
So for clarity
MSRP: 53945
Pre-incentive: $46000
Essentially this dealer is taking it below invoice at 15% off sticker which is unicorn territory (now and before the market went to shit). If you are in a strict dealer fee state like NY or CA even better because those fees really cannot be messed with. The only thing they can play with in this deal would be in the finance office if they decide to mandate add-ons or someone decides they want to royally FU on this deal because someone ran out of creamer for their morning coffee.
I’d take that in a heartbeat and heck you could drive this a month and sell it for a profit.
Sidenote: The RX (not the L) is probably the only Lexus C/SUV that you can find with some sort of discount because literally everything else is operating below normal inventory due to planned shutdowns, line shifting across the sea, and/or new launches.
I’d finance it. The value retention of these things is stellar.
Matter of time before TFS starts charging market value to all third parties on lease buyouts, ie destroying the lessee’s ability to access any equity.
Either way its a great deal. If you want to lock in future prospect, by all means. A finance deal might be messy though if they bring their own financing and knock out that commission in house.
