I shopped around and found a 2023 BMW i7 with most of the features I wanted, including the M Sport package, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and other premium options. It was a demo vehicle with just 40 miles on it. While they couldn’t apply the $20k rebate or the $5k loyalty incentive, they did significantly discount the price—possibly factoring the incentives into the discount. My calculations always came out higher than expected, so the deal seemed great on paper unless I was missing something. They asked if I wanted to proceed, but I ultimately had to move in another direction. They mentioned they would be shipping the car to another dealer. Hope this inspires some of you and if anyone can tell me why the calc wasn’t aligning up with their numbers that would be great.
Mf mentioned to me was that it was marked up .0019 to .0023. Residual was 53 and this was for a 3 year 10 lease. Ugh I’m feeling sad just posting this.
Ask if sales tax credit is available. I believe a broker on here mentioned that only the EV BMW’s had lender sales tax credits available. But I don’t know if that meant all of them.
They told me tax credits were applied, but taxes were showing as that amount because it was on the sale side of the sheet. It didn’t make sense to me, but they showed me another form where they broke down the tax and it was like half a percent.
