Seem to be an early adopter on the 2025 GT trim so appreciate people picking this apart!
Have two lease offers on comparable vehicles, one with small amount of money down, one without. Neither dealer shared their money factor, but both offers seem comparable. See anywhere to negotiate? What do you think?
Residual is 51%
I don’t know leases on Mustangs, but it sounds like you asked the dealerships to give you quotes, as opposed to what is recommended, which is to go to them with what you want to pay. I’m sure if you search on here you’ll find deals other people were able to get and can base your offer off those.
Thanks for the reply - had a hard time finding something comparable here to generate an informed offer to send first. Used the rate finder calculator though and wondering from the group if/how to negotiate the money factor.
Appreciate you and any further advice!
The MF is somewhat irrelevant if they hit your number. For instance, if you’re hoping for $500/mo for 36 months with 10k miles, it doesn’t really matter how they get there, so long as they hit your number.
Just want to throw out there, have you test driven the GT?
I daily drive a 2023 GT and love everything about it except for two things. First is the phone as a key is horrendously unreliable. Second, and my biggest complaint, is the bucket seats on the GT are incredibly uncomfortable. My commute is 45-50 minutes each way, and by the time I’m out of the car my back is killing me.
My wife has a Premium instead, and it’s a night and day difference on the seats. I can take a 3 hour car ride in her car no problem. The only significant difference between our two cars is the acceleration (which I wouldn’t miss if I didn’t have it, the premium has plenty of giddy-up) and the seats.
thanks for the heads up about the phone as key. yes, test drove it as the driver, with wife in the back. We were both happy with how it felt, although it was only a 15ish minute ride. I guess you loved the MME at least enough to get two?
