Lease Check! 2025 Hyundai Tucson SEL Central OH

Hi all! Sorry in advance but I’m very new here. I’ve been running to multiple dealerships with the expectation of being able to get a $300/month lease and have been hit hard by reality. My coworker has a ‘24 Sonata SEL with Convenience for $2k down and $300/month (including taxes and fees), 12k miles and I am astounded to find that all these dealers want me paying $450/month (including taxes and fees) for the same car and same down payment.

The dealer where he got the lease said his MF was lower and he had $1000 from his trade in toward a down payment. But I have a hard time believing the MF would increase so much and lacking an extra $1000 would jack up the price $150/month.

I somehow started looking at Tucsons and saw a few deals but I’m not sure what’s good anymore. Ricart has a lease deal: $279/month (excluding taxes and fees) for $3k down on a gas Tucson SEL. I figure add another $60 for the taxes and fees. Before I saw this deal, another dealer quoted me $380/month (including taxes and fees) for the same vehicle, which seemed stupidly high just like the Sonata numbers.

Is this Ricart deal reasonable? I just want to get a fair price and not get rinsed for the next three years.

If you can’t find a deal in Ohio consider having it shipped from a northeast seller

Thanks for the information.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what would having it shipped from a northeast seller look like? Is that like a broker like the one you linked? I’m not really sure how to do things outside of a dealership at all.

Also do you happen to know how much down payment the prices in that spreadsheet you linked require?

Thanks again

Reality has gotten warped by all these ridiculous EV deals. Not many great gas options for 300/month. Read leasing 101 and start playing with the calculator so you can start understanding what is realistic.
