Lease check -- 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD

,

Hi, all – New to leasing (and new to EVs). Test drove a 2024 Mach-e Premium yesterday and really liked it. Would appreciate a reality check on numbers from the dealer. I haven’t countered yet; per Cargurus it’s been on the lot for 338 days.

Location: Colorado

MSRP 53,890
Cap Cost 49,890
Rebates 8,000
Trade-in 5,000
Fees 1,421
Total Drive Off 13,000
Adj Cap Cost 40,747

12k mi per year / O down
(I’ll actually drive it around 11k mi/year)

24 mo @ 358/mo - 31,795 residual (59%)
36 mo @ 369/mo - 27,484 residual (51%)
39 mo @ 355/mo - 26,945 residual (50%)

Includes level 2 Ford charger and 500 off install

Thoughts? I’ve had my Subaru for 10 years and absolutely love it (paid off, great mechanical shape) but am wanting to go electric and am wondering whether these numbers make it worth the making the leap and whether/how I should counter.

Thanks in advance.

It’s a fair deal. Ford’s lease horribly (which they do on purpose), so Im not surprised by the residual. 4k off is solid but your putting 5k down. There are better EV’s out there that lease for this or less without you having to put 5k towards it. Depends if you think a mach-e is worth 5k more than the other EVs out there.
