Lease brokers good idea?

Hello all. Newbie lessee and have only leased one vehicle and that was years ago with bad experience. This site is awesome and would have saved so much angst had it been around in late 90’s.
What is the opinion of using third party lease brokers? Are they a good idea? I’ve always abided by adage if it sounds too good to be true… and that is my gut instinct but just curious what others’ experience might be. Can they get better deal, do they have access to fleet pricing? How do they make their money?

Any insight would be much appreciated.

as long as they’re reputable i don’t see a reason not to use one. They typically get paid on the backend from the dealer for referring a customer. Often times it’s also not the very best deal available and you might be able to do better. But if you value your time and sanity, you might be happy with a deal that can be considered very good vs excellent.

how else does lease brokers make money?
