Hi All,
Looking for a small EV. Current deals on SEL Rwd Ioniq 5 is around $1K total due as signing $350-$370 24/12k. Should I lease or wait for end of June. Not in a rush but would like to get something by the end of June. Thank you in advanced.
Hi All,

Wait there is nothing to lose on a hyundai
supposedly the $10k lease support will end on 6/3. not sure what offer is replacing that. that being said if you search on the forums, many people have been getting way better deals than $370 month w/ $1k down for 24/12k
I think i’ve seen deal in NE, south, west, co for 24/12k $225 - $300 with $0 down before taxes (depending on state).
You can go to one of the brokers in the Marketplace section of this site and get a one-pay lease that is around $7700 for 24/12, including the broker fee. That works out to $320/mo including taxes of 9.5%. That is what I did. If your taxes are lower or higher, it will vary, of course.
The current programs expire 6/3, but thats no big surprise. Lease programs almost always expire monthly… and then the next month programs come out to be the same.
It’s too late unless you’ve done all the legwork already. So June it is.
PS for a small EV look at the Niro. The Io5 is significantly larger
Have a deal ready to go at a local dealer. $1K total due, $350 tax included 24/12k and another on Ev6 Light LR, $1K down, around the same $350
No one knows if bank programs and availability (willingness to discount) will be better or worse after this weekend.
Your guess is as good as anyone’s.
You can get a 5 Limited/ Gt Line for that much
That was the best deal I found among all brokers here and local dealers! did not sign and decided to wait anyways !
i would wait until 6/15. Deals may be even better after 6/20 but you’re at risk of not getting the color or interiors that you wanted.
Do not get a Niro. We were at a charge station and an old gentleman charged his Niro from 45% to 97% for almost 2 hours. Yes, we waited there for that long so the data point is real.
To add, the satation is EA 350 KW charger. After he pulled out, we charged our ioniq 5 from 18% to 80% in 18 min.
