Net Sales price - $55,538.57
MF - .00144
Residual - 65%
Cash out of pocket - $1,500.00 (I know ideally you don’t want to put anything down but I felt this was negligible for the price of this car)
The base payment is $396.23 + $23.77 in tax = total of $420.00/month.
I’ll be lucky if I put 6K mi/yr. I average about 5K, so the residual will be far higher in my opinion when I return this car. They’d expect her to have about 33K miles on it when the term is up, but in reality it wont’ have 20K on it. Too bad they don’t offer a 7500 mi/yr term.
I think you overestimate the difference between 10k and 12k miles/yr. It’s literally just a 1% difference in residual.
On this car, that’s $560 plus interest spread out over 39 months. Do the math. It’s not much, certainly not the difference between a no-brainer and a head-scratcher.
Also: OP has clarified on the tax being included, but even if it weren’t, then 420 + say 7% tax = ~$450/month, not 500.
My brother just leased a FULLY loaded one in massachussets what i am about to say is absolute fact. But you wont believe it. Neither did i. He got 39 months. 10000 per year. For no money down he had to put up $5000 security deposit. He gets back at end of lease he also got tire and wheel insurance with no deductable for $25 a month. And his monthly lease payment is $409 plus the $25 This car has every option ! I know no one will believe it butnits true!
I called a couple of dealerships in my area and they said this is a 10k loss for them. If you can, can you please tell me how you were able to do this.
